James Van Sicklen, Jr., DDS, is a family and cosmetic dentist who has provided expert dental care to the Stockton, California, community for more than 30 years.
Dr. Van Sicklen graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton in 1975 and continued his studies at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, earning his degree in 1980. Since then, Dr. Van Sicklen has offered his patients in Stockton and around San Joaquin County professional and comprehensive cosmetic and restorative dental care.

Booking an appointment is simple! We give you the option of booking through our online appointment request system or calling our office directly! Once your appointment is booked, you will receive confirmation of the date and time from one of our team members.
We are located at 1372 W Robinhood Dr Ste E in Stockton, CA. Our hours are 8 AM to 5 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Wednesdays, we are open from 7 AM to 4 PM. Fridays are by special appointment only, and our office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. You can always call us at (209) 951-3436 to speak directly to one of our team members.

What should I do before my first visit?
Complete our new patient forms in advance so we can attend to your dental needs more quickly when you arrive. You can find them on our Patient Forms page, and you are welcome to call the office beforehand with any questions.

Do you see dental emergencies?
Yes. If a tooth is broken or dislodged, a dental restoration breaks loose, or you have a debilitating toothache, call us at (209) 951-3436. Tooth pain can be a sign of a serious problem and should be handled immediately.
