James Van Sicklen, Jr., DDS, is a family and cosmetic dentist who has provided expert dental care to the Stockton, California, community for more than 30 years.
Dr. Van Sicklen graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton in 1975 and continued his studies at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, earning his degree in 1980.
Since then, Dr. Van Sicklen has offered his patients in Stockton and around San Joaquin County professional and comprehensive cosmetic and restorative dental care. His insight into the region helps him better understand his patients, and he's developed long-lasting relationships with many of them.
Dr. Van Sicklen, who also goes by Dr. V, Dr. Jim, or simply Doc, is an active member of the San Joaquin Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. His focus with all three is meeting planning and continuing education.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Van Sicklen enjoys golf and boating. He and his wife, Janet, live in Stockton with their three dogs.
